Creating fun coffee bar design ideas in your home can make morning coffee time feel like you are at an expensive coffee shop. I have also found guests enjoy the pampered feeling of stepping up to the bar and making their own cup of joe. Special ingredients such as Bailey's, vanilla-infused sugar, "real" whipping cream in the frother, and seasonings in shakers such as cinnamon and nutmeg make the whole setting say welcome, come relax and enjoy yourself.
I've been thinking about sprucing our bar up a bit and have found some great ideas that I will be incorporating into ours.
I Should Be Mopping The Floor has a great piece of red painted furniture to set the tone for her coffee bar. The two lamps give this bar a more formal feel and the shelves above are great for pretty storage. I like the idea of having a tray on the bar with all the condiments out in pretty jars.
Artsy Chicks Rule has me inspired! I've just started getting into chalk painting and this piece of furniture is fabulous for setting the tone of a coffee bar. The chest has a great graphic painted on the top and the chalk board painted the same color ties the whole theme together nicely. I like the design of her shelf holders which add a whimsy feel to the whole coffee bar area.
Now this is the most unique coffee bar idea I've seen. Ever Evolving Life 4-5 has got tons of ideas for transforming an old TV cabinet into a coffee bar. The backsplash sets a rustic tone against the very pretty distressed paint. I think the idea of adding a hanging light is genius. What I like most about this coffee bar is the ability to close it so no one knows it's there. This would be great to put in a master suite, living room or any other room that might not normally have a special treat of a coffee bar.
Ideas are flowing and I am looking forward to tweaking our own coffee bar for our next get together.
