Making your own Thanksgiving Banner Craft is a fun and easy and it will help you remember how much you have to be thankful for through the holiday.
Often we get busy shopping, cooking and entertaining during the Thanksgiving season, so much so that we put the whole point 0f the holiday into the back of our minds.
This year I wanted to create a decorative reminder to hang in a prominent place as a reminder to be thankful. Each time I look at it, I will pause and think of something I am thankful for. It might be something simple as the smell of leaves burning or a warm cup of apple cider to the really big things such as family, freedom, and salvation. Having a little reminder hanging over my fireplace will help keep my mind filled with a thankful attitude this Thanksgiving season. I hope you enjoy making your own Thanksgiving Banner Craft.

Next, cut out each leaf as shown and pin to your felt. Cut along the edges of the leaf line. Repeat for all leaves alternating colors of felt.
Unpin one end our your leaf, then place your carbon paper with the carban side down on the felt leaf. I used a dull color pencil to rub very hard on the letter. As you can see I rubbed so hard I went through the leaf paper but not the carbon paper. Peak as you go to be sure you are getting enough carbon on the felt to see the letter.
The carbon will give you a general idea where you will need to apply your paint pen marks.
Grab your paint pen in black or dark brown. Start pressing down on the tip to get the paint flowing then move the paint around to cover all of the carbon. Continue until you have all the leaves done.
Finally cut some twine and lay out your leaves in order, then hot glue the backs to the twine. Hang and enjoy!
