WHAT IS AN AZALEA COCKTAIL?

If you ever come to Augusta in the spring, you will be awestruck at the blanket of color that permeates our yards and, most importantly, our beloved Augusta National golf course. It only seems fitting that a cocktail would be created to emulate the beautiful pink azaleas on the 13th hole at Augusta National Golf Club. The par 5,510-yard hole is one of the most famous holes in professional golf.

WHY IS THE COCKTAIL CALLED AZALEA?

This cocktail is straightforward to make. The key is to use only fresh-squeezed lemon juice. If you have a yellow plastic lemon, don’t you dare use it in this drink. Fresh is best. – 2 ounces lemon juice fresh-squeezed – 2 ounces pineapple juice – 4 ounces vodka – ¼ ounce grenadine
