Pat It Dry

Pat the pork roast with paper towels to get rid of any excess moisture.

How To Make Pork and Sauerkraut For New Years

 Sprinkle the roast with salt, pepper, and paprika, rubbing it all over the roast.

Sear meat, turning it to brown the outside of your pork loin evenly. This should take about 5 minutes to do it properly.

Place in a dutch oven and cook in a 325 degrees preheated oven. Bake for 2 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 150 degrees internal temperature of your roast.

Serve over mashed potatoes or hot buttered noodles.
