This slow cooker spaghetti sauce is a thick, meaty crock pot spaghetti sauce made with ground beef, tomatoes, and Italian herbs, perfect for a hearty family dinner or feeding a crowd.

Instructions
Brown the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Drain Fat
Carefully drain off any excess fat from the skillet.
Combine Ingredients
Transfer the cooked meat mixture to your slow cooker. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, dried oregano, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, beef broth, and red pepper flakes if using.

Slow Cook
Stir everything together well. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or on high for 4 hours, until the sauce is deep red and thick enough to cling to a spoon.
Serve
Remove the bay leaves before serving. Spoon the sauce over your favorite cooked pasta.
