Chocolate and Strawberry Jello Pie Are a Perfect Combination
I happen to love chocolate covered strawberries, so I thought the combo would be great for a jello pie. I start with a chocolate cookie crust, fill it with creamy jello strawberry filling, and then top it off with a few chocolate-covered strawberries for a sweet treat.
If you have kids who enjoy learning to cook, then this is one of those dessert recipes that’s great for budding new chefs. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pie is an easy dessert that my grandkids like to help me with. They can whisk the jello and Cool Whip, carefully fill the pie crust, and then lick the bowl clean. The pie is a cool sweet dessert for a hot summer day.

Here Are The Ingredients You Will Need
You are only going to need a few simple ingredients for this strawberry jello pie recipe.
- Jello: Purchase a box of regular or sugar-free strawberry Jell-O that’s a name brand or store brand to save a little on your grocery budget.
- Cool Whip: I use a tub of store-brand whipped topping to save on my grocery budget. You can also buy regular or lite if you want to save some calories. It really doesn’t make the pie taste different.
- Prepared Pie Shell: I bought a premade chocolate cookie crust for this recipe.
