Buy cuts, such as blade chops, shoulder chops, or sirloin chops. They are all ideal for slow cooking as the bone adds flavor, and the thickness helps retain juiciness and tenderness during the cooking process.

For boneless pork chops that are 1 inch thick, you should cook them in the crockpot on high for aproximatly 4 hours or on low for about 6 hours. For bone-in pork chops that are 1 inch thick, you should cook them in the crockpot on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.

To determine if your crock pot pork chops are done, you can use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature. Pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) to be considered safe to eat. Additionally, the pork chops should be tender and easily pierced with a fork when they are fully cooked.

It is possible for pork chops to turn out dry when cooked in a crock pot. This can happen due to overcooking or not using enough moisture.
